The VIA Classification arguably provides a more useful vantage on such NOS diagnoses.

This strength family includes what psychologists refer to as Big C creativity, but it is not limited to traditional endeavors within the fine arts. Rather, it seems to be captured by what Sternberg et al. (2000) referred to as practical intelligence or, more bluntly, street smarts.
